Melania Trump finally moves in with husband Donald Trump at White House

The internet is going to get even more opportunities to examine and critique the chemistry - or lack thereof - between United States First Lady Melania Trump and husband and president, Donald Trump.

The 47-year-old former model moved into the White House, the official residence of the first family of the United States, this weekend.

The internet is going to get even more opportunities to examine and critique the chemistry - or lack thereof - between United States First Lady Melania Trump and husband and president, Donald Trump.

Melania announced the news via Twitter, posting a photograph showing the White House lawns.

Using the hashtag #Movingday, Melania said, "Looking forward to the memories we'll make in our new home!"

After Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th US president in January this year, he moved into the White House, but wife Melania remained in New York City, staying at the Trumps' penthouse, so that the couple's 11-year-old son Barron would not have switch schools midway through a year.

With the school year in the US coming to an end, Melania and Barron finally made the planned move to Washington, DC.

US stands in solidarity with Afghanistan: NSA

US National Security Advisor Lt Gen H R McMaster has assured Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani that America stands in solidarity with the Afghan government after the deadly terror attacks in Kabul last week. McMaster condemned the terror attacks in the strongest terms and noted that the US stands in solidarity with the Afghan government and people, the White House said.

McMaster wished Ghani and all Afghans best wishes for Ramzan and expressed confidence that the Afghan people would overcome this difficult period and defeat their enemies.

“He expressed admiration for the courageous Afghan security forces who, every day work to confront the enemies of all civilised people,” the White House said.

Meanwhile, Republican Congressman Walter Jones asked US President Donald Trump not to increase the number of troops in Afghanistan.

“I’m absolutely opposed to it, because if you increase the number of American troops that means the number of Americans to be killed and wounded goes up. And again, I come back to the point, what have we accomplished? We spent over USD 800 billion dollars. We are very close to USD 1 trillion in the past 16 years,” Jones told PJ Media in an interview.
